The Serra's origins

“Serra”, in homage to the philosopher Michel Serres, born in Agen. So close to the neighbouring region of Serres and the verb “serrer” (to tighten in French), reflecting our desire to strengthen human ties.

The Serra also echoes the green setting of a greenhouse, where warmth brings small miracles to life. A place where conviviality becomes the art of living. Who will be, will know, who will live, will see.

A real place to live

« We imagined the SERRA with friends and family. We conceived it as a big house where we would like to settle down and meet when we travel. We have put into it everything we share: the demands of a job well done and the convivial identity of the South-West, but also our individualities, our characters, our aspirations. We want to moor a haven of serenity and warmth on the banks of the Garonne, in the heart of our city, to help regenerate the beautiful areas of our region, to contribute to the blossoming of a city’s potential in an area that is already vibrant, and to promote its culture and art of livin. »

The Serra spans the centuries with its hanging garden, its 17th century building the Villa Serra, linked to a modern building by a solarium with art deco curves. The common thread running throughout the hotel is nature. All this is combined with an assertive decor, chosen with strong ethical beliefs, which instantly immerses us in a prestigious setting.
